I'm interested in your comment about skipping the hanging folders altogether. How do you accomplish this? I organize my files in a drawer designed to hold hanging folders. I agree they take up way too much space and add little value, but I can't just throw folders in the drawer without something to support them.</description>

      <description>I've been trying to find colored file folders with the same tab, because I agree with you about the messiness issue.  I was going to use one color for each category of files, e.g, green for $$, yellow for people, blue for writing projects.  No luck.  I was successful with manila folders, which I can use for articles I need to save.  Love the idea of straight tab, so I found some colored ones.  Thanks for the great idea!</description>
