I like the overall guidelines of Tip #1 except for the emphasis on the due date. The larger project in which the work is being conducted needs to be considered. Is an early delivery of the work going to help the project (are there activities waiting on the completion of this task)? Is late deliver of the work going to impact the overall project? Let Dagmar know the state of the project and how her work relates to it. Otherwise, the rest of the conversation works for me.

Excellent response. This transcript is a keeper.

Even if you take the whole "friend" aspect out of this podcast, you still have a great Management 101 podcast.

Thanks!
